Who can enter?
Anyone living in South Africa, at any skill level.
How much does it cost?
Entry is completely free.
How do I enter?
Create your video, post it on TikTok, YouTube or Instagram Reels, then submit the link through the website. Then wait for judging.
How are winners selected?
Our judges score every entry out of 100 and choose the Top 10. Then the public votes, the finalist with the most votes becomes the Yano Star.
How long is voting open?
Voting dates are announced with each challenge.
Can I enter again?
Yes. You may enter future challenges as often as you like.
What can I win?
Cash prizes, national recognition, a Hall of Fame placement, and the title of Yano Star.
How do I know if I've won?
Winners are announced on the website and across our social media, and you'll get a notification in your dashboard.
